Nurses do not eat flan cake. They eat PHAN cake!
What action should you prioritize?
Physiological choices should come before safety and belonging. Some examples include food, water, and health.
Airway choices should be first. The patient may be at risk for infection, but you’d prioritize whether or not the patient is able to breathe before focusing on the patient’s risk for infection.
Assess before you implement.
